We've recently launched the ability for you, a vendor, to pass along all credit card processing fees to your client. This means you absorb $0 in fees for credit card payments. Because this is not RPC's default fee structure, if you'd like to turn this feature on, please contact [email protected]. We will customize your universal account settings.
Can I pass along processing fees for ACH payments?
Currently, there is not a way to pass along ACH processing fees to clients. Any ACH (bank transfer) payment will incur the normal fee. The fee will be deducted from the amount deposited to your bank account.
What about writing off processing fees on my taxes?
According to this recent article from Stripe, "...you can deduct the fees charged by the payment processor or merchant services provider, reducing your taxable income and increasing tax savings."
