Rock Paper Coin makes it easy for businesses to manage their transactions and offer a seamless experience for clients. One feature we especially love that adds to this experience is a gratuity option which allows your clients to express their appreciation by including a tip when making the final payment.

Here is how to manage the option for gratuity on an invoice:

  1. When creating or editing an invoice, scroll to the bottom of the page.

  2. Under the payment schedule, you'll see the option to allow gratuity on the final payment. The default will be "checked."

  3. If you would prefer to disallow the gratuity option on the final installment, simply "uncheck" the circle.

  4. Be sure to save your invoice so your preference is locked in!

Note: The default option on each invoice is to allow gratuity on the final payment. If you'd prefer that the default is to disallow gratuity, please let us know!

Clients can add a gratuity of their choice on the last payment installment on the invoice. The gratuity amount will always default to "NONE," but clients can quickly select one of the defaults of 15%, 18%, or 20%, or enter a custom amount.

Note: The client will not see an option to add gratuity until paying the final installment, or unless there is only one payment installment the your invoice.
