Paying through Rock Paper Coin should be simple and stress-free — for both vendors and their clients. That’s why we support a variety of secure payment options, whether your client is paying an invoice, a scheduled payment, or making a quick payment as a guest.

Payment Options

✨ Clients and guests can pay in the way that works best for them:

  • Credit & Debit Cards

    • We accept all major cards worldwide, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

    • Clients can pay once or save a card to their RPC Wallet, making future payments quicker and easier. This is often the most familiar and convenient way for clients to pay.

  • Bank Transfers (ACH)

    • Available for U.S.-based banks, ACH is a secure, direct way to transfer funds without using a card. It’s especially helpful for larger invoices since fees are typically lower than card payments.

  • Apple Pay

    • Apple Pay works on Safari or Chrome on Mac, iPhone, or iPad, and requires a card set up in the device Wallet.

    • Clients can pay quickly and securely with just a couple taps, without manually entering card details.

    • Apple Pay shows up when a single installment is selected and the “Card” option is chosen.

  • Google Pay

    • Google Pay is available on Chrome, both desktop and mobile, and requires a payment method saved in the client’s Google account.

    • Like Apple Pay, it makes checkout fast and easy without entering card information manually. It also appears for single-installment payments when “Card” is selected.

Good to Know

  • Browser matters: Apple Pay works in Safari or Chrome on Mac/iPhone/iPad, while Google Pay is available in Chrome on desktop and mobile. Neither option will appear in Firefox or other browsers.

  • Installments matter: Wallet payment methods, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH, and cards, only appear for single-installment payments. If a client chooses multiple installments, these wallet options will not show.

  • Stripe Link vs. Wallets: Stripe Link is Stripe’s saved card option and works differently from Apple and Google Pay. Clients may need to log out of Link to see wallet payment options.

  • Card requirements: Apple Pay and Google Pay require a real card saved in the device Wallet or Google account. Even in test environments, the system validates the card without actually charging it.

  • Payment timing: All payments, regardless of method, are securely processed and deposited into your bank account within two (2) business days.

FAQs

Do clients need a Rock Paper Coin account to pay?

No — clients can pay as guests, so they don’t need an account. Guest checkout is quick, simple, and secure.

Can a client split a payment between two methods, like part card and part bank transfer?

Not at this time. Each payment must be completed using a single method, which helps keep transactions clear and secure.

Why don’t I see Apple Pay or Google Pay as an option?

If Apple Pay or Google Pay doesn’t appear, first check that you’re using the correct browser (Safari or Chrome for Apple Pay, Chrome for Google Pay), that a valid payment method is saved in the wallet, and that you’re paying a single installment.

Are there extra fees for Apple Pay or Google Pay?

No — these payments are processed the same way as standard card payments, with no added fees.

Will this work outside the U.S.?

Yes — clients can use card and wallet payments internationally. Bank transfers (ACH) are limited to U.S. banks.
