Why isn't Stripe accepting the "pay to" information I'm entering?

Stripe is certified as a PCI Service Provider Level 1 – meaning they adhere to the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.

Most often, when your information is getting kicked back, it is due to a very minor discrepancy between how it is being entered and how it appears on your tax forms. Be sure to enter your information exactly as it appears on your tax forms.

Is there another way to verify my "pay to" information?

If you're being asked to enter the same information repeatedly, you can speed up the process by submitting your SS-4 confirmation letter or letter 147c to [email protected]. We will submit it to stripe and work directly with them to verify your information. When a tax form is provided, accounts are almost always verified instantly!
