Integrating Canva Designs for RPC Proposals

Link your Canva account for instant access to your designs

No need to upload a file when you can sync your Canva account directly within the RPC proposal builder!

Integrating your Canva account with RPC

  1. Click "+ Proposal" from your Proposals page or "+ New" from your dashboard action button, then select Proposal

  2. Enter details at the top of the page

  3. Click "Canva Designs" then "Connect to Canva":

  4. Click "Allow":
    ​

  5. The page will reload with your Canva designs (note: only presentations, designs, and whiteboard files will sync)

Using a Canva design as a Proposal

Follow the steps above to generate a new proposal then select the Canva design you'd like to utilize as a proposal

  1. "Edit Design" if you would like to make any changes (note: this will direct you to Canva), then click "Return to Rock Paper Coin" and proceed with sending your proposal design

  2. "Refresh from Canva" if you've made updates in Canva directly and want to see those reflected in your proposal design or if you're not seeing all of the designs you expect

  3. "Remove Design" to delete the selected design and select a new one


Using a Canva design as a Proposal Template

  1. Navigate to your Proposals Templates tab

  2. Select "New Template" then title your template

  3. Click the design you'd like to use (this may take several moments to load, depending on the size of the file)

  4. "Save"

  5. When you're ready to use your template, generate a new Proposal then select the template from the "Your Designs" tab

Building a new Canva design from RPC

  1. From the "Canva Designs" tab, click "+ New Design"

  2. Enter your proposal details

  3. Select your design type (presentation, document, or whiteboard)

  4. You will be directed to Canva to build your design

  5. Choose from a Canva template or design from scratch

  6. When you're happy with your design, title it and click "Return to Rock Paper Coin"

  7. Your design will load as your RPC Proposal and be ready to send

Disconnecting Canva

  1. Click into the "Canva Designs" tab

  2. "Disconnect"

  3. This will instantly disconnect your existing Canva account (and allow you to select a different account if desired)


Do I need a paid Canva account in order to use the integration?

No. A free tier Canva account should be able to be used for all proposal design functionality
