Google, Outlook, and Desktop Calendar Integration in Rock Paper Coin

Staying organized just got easier. Rock Paper Coin now offers built-in calendar integration capabilities, making it simple to turn important dates into scheduled events without leaving the platform.

Add events in seconds

You can now quickly create calendar events directly from a document or a Client profile. You can create calendar events directly from a document or a client profile.

From a client profile:

  1. Open the client profile

  2. Find the section containing event details

  3. Click into the Event Date field

  4. Select the calendar icon

  5. Add the event to your calendar

From a document (proposal, contract, or invoice):

  1. Open the document

  2. Locate the Event Date field

  3. Click the calendar icon inside the field

  4. Select or confirm the date

  5. Choose your calendar (Google, Outlook, or desktop calendar)

  6. Save or add the event when prompted

The event will be added to your calendar immediately.

What calendars are supported?

Rock Paper Coin supports seamless integration with Google Calendar, Outlook, and desktop calendars. Events you create will sync with your existing calendar, so everything stays in one place.

No setup or external connection is required beyond adding events to your calendar when prompted.

Send calendar reminders to others

You can also invite clients or team members to add the event to their own calendars.

  1. Follow the steps above to create an event

  2. Select Send a calendar reminder

  3. Enter the email address of the recipient(s)

  4. Send the invitation

Recipients will receive a calendar file or link they can use to add the event to their own calendar. It’s a simple way to keep everyone aligned on important event dates.

How calendar syncing works

Events are created individually from within Rock Paper Coin. Once added, they appear in your selected calendar.

Note that updates made in RPC require re-adding the event if changes are needed. This feature does not sync changes automatically after the event is added to your external calendar.

Troubleshooting

I don’t see the calendar icon.

Make sure you are viewing a field that supports event dates (such as a document or client profile with an event section). To see the calendar icon, you must have already added an event date to the client profile or document.

The event didn’t appear in my calendar.

Double-check that you completed the final step of adding/saving the event in your calendar app.

Can I connect my calendar directly to RPC?

No. Events are added individually from RPC into your external calendar.
